I think it’s pretty straight forward. Palestinians have been occupied for 70+ years living under hell conditions and having no control over their own lives. Of course they will eventually stand up for themselves if the world won’t. And of course resistance groups like Hamas will form. Don’t buy into the Israeli propaganda. Israel is purposely taking advantage of the situation to kill as many Palestinians and drive them out of their homes. Israel loves the war.

Seems like Palestinians are akin to the ghettos of America. A bunch of people with IQs too low to make anything of themselves, zero desire to do so, and a lot of hatred baked in; blaming everyone but themselves.

If you think "it's pretty straightforward" then you don't really understand what is going on there. For one, Gaza hasn't been occupied for almost two decades. Does "standing up for themselves" include torturing and raping civilians? Burning children? You can say about anything that it is "propaganda" and just believe whatever makes you sleep well at night. That's cheap. I hope you don't look up the videos from Oct 7 for your own sanity. Hamas is not a resistance group. They are terrorists. Hamas doesn't care about the people of Gaza, or any people, it only cares about its holy war and the afterlife. They don't even hide it. Over the years, Hamas, as the elected government in Gaza, used its aid money to build tunnels and arm their hospitals and mosques, instead of caring for its people. Israel can trivially kill over a million people in Gaza if it wanted to. There are people in Israel who would be happy to see people in Gaza die, but they are a minority, and not part of the army's higher ranks or pilots. Instead, the IDF let the civilians evacuate, at the risk of terrorists evacuating too. Of course there will be a lot of casualties if you are determined to destroy a group that uses a populous as its shield. Welcome to war, there is a reason why everybody hates it. Israel is not free of blame. If anything, it should have been more heavy-handed with Hamas. It should also cooperative more with the leadership in the West Bank, and not enable settler aggressions. But there are no settlers in Gaza! Did you even know that Gaza and the West Bank are two separate places that do not even share a border, or leadership? I bet this is news to you.

Amazing bit of fan fiction. An obvious distortion of reality. When you have to run an actual marketing campaign to gain support for your cause, your know it’s done so in order to manufacture consent for genocide.

Of course there is a marketing campaign, there are campaigns on both sides. Not exactly a measure of who's right. But I'm not part of any group or anything, I just tried out nostr and stumbled upon this thread.
