 Different systems can be off grid. No sewer? No gas mains? No municipal water? No cable/fiber? No electrical service? 

Any or all can be off grid.

 Hey @Stu , off grid means you aren’t tied into, or reliant on your local power grid’s system. We rely on a gas generator, battery system, and star link to keep us well connected with the world.
