Can someone explain to me the ev credit that many (people, media, etc) deduct from prices? I don't think it works that way since it's mostly for tax purpose. Just another way to mislead consumers. Am I misunderstanding it?

 @19138a82 USA here, So the cool thing about a tax credit is it’s basically money. Quickie example here. If you have a $1000 tax credit and $400 in tax liability, the government owes you $600 when you file taxes.
