And we all know they will not actually give that much, they'll inspect it and take off 50% because that's what they do.

 @2f08c44f @7c51d3ef ya looks like Google is shortchanging us here in Canada which is too bad. If they had better trade-in offers, it might have convinced me to upgrade early.

As it stands, my P6 is still working well, I'd rather just hold on for a little longer, see what kind of upgrade the Pixel 9 or even 10 would be before upgrading, likely gonna wait for when those go on sale before buying as well if they do sales as often as they do with the P7 series.

 @baa7002e @2f08c44f Now I'm feeling a twinge of buyer's remorse. My Pixel 6 Pro is still doing everything I need it to do and I really don't need a Pixel Watch. 🤷

 @7c51d3ef @2f08c44f I mean it should still be a nice upgrade from the P6P to the P8P be it the new AI capabilities, cameras or the upgrade to the ARMv9 microarchitecture.

For me, I'm not a super power user chasing the latest phone. As much as the 8 Series is tempting, since I'm in no rush to replace & there's no good incentives to get me upgrading early, I rather wait for a wider gap before the next upgrade.
