 A daily reminder + a comment:

Hunting food must be the only thing you do because you have to, not because you want to. That is the definition of work, not fun: it must be done and you trade it for food. If you want to sing - sing, if you want to cook - cook, if you want to invent something - invent. But if you expect somebody else to do your part of hunting in return for you singing, inventing, cooking - don't do it. Don't force the progress. It either comes naturally or it comes booby trapped.

 Again, a reminder that all intentional progress is bad.
Some think, "no, I love cars, airplanes, comms devices, etc.". Well, if you lived in the right place with the right people, which by now has been destroyed by intentional progress, you would not care about those things. So you only need them to escape the results of progress that was done wrong.
The only thing that I still cannot sort out how I would not miss it if it no longer existed, is recording of music and good quality playback of those records. I don't see how natural sounds or live performances only would satisfy me.
