The important thing to keep in mind here is that Fienstein was insignificant compared to the organized machine that ran her office, which is the same machine that runs most of DC.

This is why it didn't matter that she was still in office beyond her physical capabilities. Same with Biden and others.

The machine will replace her with another human and "Our Sacred Democracy™" will be no different.
