Generally it should be obvious that my role isnt to conspire and align with a traumatizing invalidator;  its to support and help the patient. 

 I aint here to tell your kid theyre wrong to want to avoid a mass disabling virus, transphobia, racism, and ableism. 

I hope more mental health providers feel this way. Do no harm. 

 @46cd5609 I'm glad you're not contributing to the madness. It's hard enough at 51 - I can't imagine what it's like to be 12 and have the world tell you the reality isn't what it is and you should be punished for seeing it.
