 Just a lightning wallet you can connect via NWC. If you have Alby hub and alby account, you don’t need it

 Yes. It is just an app that connects to your alby hub which is connected to your alby account. 
If you running alby hub, you can access it through a browser already, without the  need for an app. 
The app just make it easier but functionality wise, it is the same

 it's the most easy mobile app to pay and receive bicoin on the Go. It connects to your Alby Hub. - The sats are on the Hub but you use the mobile app to send/receive on the Go.

 It's the mobile interface for your Alby Hub. 
it uses the NWC protocol so it also works with other wallets that use NWC.
