 Many people are saying similar things, but never suggesting anything better  

 I'll need to go back in the feed to figure out what is being "gatekept." Been off for over half a year. 

 Clients need to implement relay controls to allow for users to manipulate where they write and where they read independently, as well as which relay they’re actively displaying in their feed. 

Instead of clients just blasting notes everywhere and downloading every note from every relay, users should have granular control. 

This also impacts how much of a bandwidth hog clients are, or data storage(cache) issues and crashes. 

All of these “just do this thing” solutions don’t actually help nostr, they centralize and wall it off.
