Let me do some self PR here. As a tech consultant / community strategist I'm also trying to explain why retention matters in a social network app focused on petrolheads of a client of mine (you can find the app Proudwheels in the stores). We are always looking how we can improve retention with adding value for those petrolheads (with their consent, being relevant, which is not always content showed in a chrononical way). I'm a believer in serendenpenity. It's hard, the competition on attention is really hard. Already working on this topic for 2 years with my client.

In Amsterdam @Jeroen ✅ and I met and discovered we're both living nearby. I would be curious in the reasons why those 99% stopped using Damus. My guess there will be plenty type of reasons.
