just like it's safer in a commercial passenger plane than in a car, i'd bet it's a rare event if i was a skydiver i'd have the backup AND a flightsuit in case both fail, in case i happen to have the possibility to head to a body of water at a low angle
flight suits didn't exist in 1990, but I've got another friend from Alaska that has some insane videos from his crazy-ass stunts. I'm attracted to extremes, lol, probably why I'm here. Cheers. 👊🏻
yeah, i think that flightsuits should be a third failure backup for parachuting, it would greatly increase your chances of finding a soft place to land, and has a very low catastrophic failure risk compared to a parachute, like one in million type of probability of the webs tearing off
