Italian artist Salvatore Garau sold an invisible sculpture a few years ago for 15,000 euros.
The so-called “Buddha in contemplazione” is not the first sale of an invisible sculpture he makes. He did it before with another immaterial piece called “Io sono” (I am).
These sculptures cannot be seen, but to “admire” them you have to stand in front of an unobstructed space of 150x150 cm where, according to the artist, you can neither pass nor step on.

Still better than a banana ductaped against the wall.
In light of this brilliant scam, I think I need to adjust the value of my paintings upward.
Way up...
I admire the ability to trick the king to wear invisible clothes. It takes way more confidence that I will never have.
Also, I have a feeling there is money laundering involved.
