 Man the police state sucks

Not trying to defend the great pumpkin, but would the New Yorker made the same deal of this if Harris had won the election? It was under the administration that she is part of that signed this deal. Can we just scrap govt already?
 They 100% would not have

It’s a perfect example of the counter-argument to “I have nothing to hide, so I don’t need privacy”. We all will eventually. Regimes change.

People are so quick to jump on the partisan bandwagon, to “support the current thing”, because it’s much easier to default to the viewpoint held by the rest of your tribe, than it is to think critically about a nuanced, difficult, or emotionally charged topic.

Supporting the right to protest means both the Canadian truckers *and* BLM.

Supporting the right to bodily autonomy means both vaccine choice *and* abortion access.

Party is easier to choose than principles. In the example above, the party is exposing people to an important principle.

Hopefully, for some, it will stick...
