 @dee34601 I had to read that article 3 times yesterday. The reporter should have asked the right questions to get at the obvious point here—the cops did not want to arrest this guy. They wanted to let him go because they agree with what he was doing. But someone said “we gotta do this because it looks bad and we have to find some excuse…”
