Projects like @getumbrel and @RaspiBlitz have put tens of thousands of servers into people’s homes. Easy to imagine these little baks will eventually also become email, chat, cloud storage and social media replacements. Powered by Tor, Bittorrent and Bitcoin. The real “Web3.”

 Imagine a web of devices creating a new internet, and its database something like the blockchain.  

 This seems quite exaggerated when you take into account that @Jameson Lopp recently estimated the number of bitcoin noderunners to be below 17.000... 

 In my experience the total addressable market for node devices is 5K-10K and many folks who buy them actually buy every company's device just to try it out.

And a ton of folks who buy them never even set them up.
