Don't know if it's still true but for years bitcoin node IBD was like *the* stress test of a hard disk. People used to report failures all the time.
Also CPU/memory - people would regularly fail IVD on various early RPis cause they’d corrupt memory when they got hot.
Anything to keep us from self-hosting when we ought to be exposing everything on the cloud for free.
