The thing most notably absent from people is enthusiasm. Nobody is really excited about anything. Fear drives all. I think it's because we enjoy being scared. It gives us purpose. It also gives us an excuse to commit violent acts. And we all love to commit violence, every one of us.

even the pack training so far has been a refreshing change from my typical lifting goonery
