 That happened to me when I was younger. I woke up and was devastated. Very surreal experience. 

 Yeah. I still remember parts of that life. The next morning I couldn’t say a word to anyone, in total shock of what just happened. 

 I had a friend who had that happen to them once. It sounds crazy to me. 

I've had some pretty vivid dreams but nothing like living an entire life.  

 Yeah it does sound crazy. I wouldn’t believe anyone if it didn’t happen to me.

 People in your current life suddenly feel like strangers for some time, because you still remember the people in the other life, it's very weird.  

 I had that as well, I have also had people tell me that you can do it on purpose with shrooms, not sure if it helps or makes it worse.

 I remember a wild thread back in the Twitter days with people giving stories of their experiences taking Salvia (I think it was called. Used to be sold in gas stations in the USA). They’d live entire lives as a fence post or a garden hose, watching entire generations of families come and go in the space of a few minutes. It was an incredible thread, fascinating
