For my first post, I’m wondering if I have enough followers to ask for advice… I’m starting a masters degree soon which weirdly I may finish when I turn 50 (my 20yo self would not believe I’d leave it this late!). When I last did an essay in 1997, I used a sheet of paper for each point I wanted to cover then added the supporting evidence to each sheet as I did my reading. Surely there is some tech now that will help? Can anyone recommend what I should use?

Zotero was amazing for tracking references. It integrates with Google Docs (and others) very well.

Which is pretty similar to your paper-based approach.
