 What brand? I've seen most people have much trouble with most smaller wind turbines.

 I don't have the documentation for it as I got it as part of a swap with someone else and it's unmarked - it works, has it's own little charge controller but that's rubbish which is why I'm integrating the wind and solar together through one charge controller which includes a dump load

 I haven't seen a charge controller that can handle wind and solar at the same time! I'm curious as to what unit you are using. (I still have a lot to learn about wind, though.)

 This is the one I've been experimenting with - it appears to work well but I'm in the process of trying to sort out all my electrics so I'm not using it constantly
