 Non technical me never figured out how to use i2p, whereas Tor, despite its flaws, works (most of the time) 
 the java implementaton of i2p daemon is kiinda messy, and uses a lot of memory, there's also a c++ one (i2pd) which is more optimized, but it's less stable (often crash bugs), and also has had memory leaks in the past

to be clear i don't have anything against i2p as a protocol, i think it's useful as an alternative to tor, but it wouldn't be my first choice for anything
