 @0xtr You don't actually need anything close to NVMe performance for storing blocks. And since you're not rewriting blocks all the time, any cheap SSD or NVMe will suffice. 
 That’s fair but I do want to run a lightning node, BTCPayServer, maybe a cashu mint, etc on it so I want it to be able to handle some workload more than just the bitcoin node itself 
 TIL about the WD firmware upgrades. I have two 4TB WD Reds in my Jellyfin setup 👀
