I still think long-form publications are a bigger use case than tweets for nostr.

And now nostr:nprofile1qqsdcnxssmxheed3sv4d7n7azggj3xyq6tr799dukrngfsq6emnhcpspz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgmwaehxw309a6xsetxdaex2um59ehx7um5wgcjucm0d5hsz9nhwden5te0dp5hxapwdehhxarj9ekxzmny9u78m52f and nostr:nprofile1qqs06gywary09qmcp2249ztwfq3ue8wxhl2yyp3c39thzp55plvj0sgprdmhxue69uhhg6r9vehhyetnwshxummnw3erztnrdakj7qguwaehxw309a6xsetrd96xzer9dshxummnw3erztnrdakj7qgmwaehxw309amksetpwshxsctswpuhgctkv4exutnrduhsw0qlr4 and bringing that to ebooks and more.

 I agree.
Is it possible to create long form notes in amethyst?
No, I feel like no one writes long form on phones anyway. But I might be wrong.
I wanted to post one today...
I write long-form articles on my phone.
Which app do you use to write usually?
These days, I write my first drafts on a Gitea repository. Then I copy and paste the final draft into Habla.news and my Ghost blog.
But do you write on Gitea itself or just use it to save the draft?
I write on Gitea itself. I use the Wiki's like Obsidian, but on my Start9.
 Habla
I do, on Habla, sometimes. Usually because it started out as microblogging reply to someone else and then got so big, that I moved it, and was too lazy to get my laptop out.

But I usually use my laptop.

I think it's sort of a waste of time to add publishing to every client. Viewing and commenting is more important.
it's not common, but it happens
i was really surprised to see Kanzure using a phone and a bluetooth keyboard to type his transcripts for talks at btc conferences, years ago
way better battery life than a laptop at least
Nice. I'll be looking into this.

I've been doing a table of contents (or index) to my posts of interest using markdown and short notes. The link is in my profile.

It requires constant editing and markdown, so the index only works on Amethyst
 Awesome!
 Definitely!
I think the combination is promising. People would often setup a blog on wordpress and then embed their twitter feed on the side of their blog. Nostr is a one stop shop for that content.
That’s a tough case to make when the majority of relays make zero promises about uptime or data retention.

Ephemerality is well suited to tweets though bc they’re low value
 Yeah, don't use free relays.
Any recommendations on paid relays? How does one go about finding such things?

Also, do any paid relays actually include some kind of service level agreement in terms of uptime and retention?
 https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/230, just need client support
That’s interesting for sure. But no info on monetization or data retention policy?
Monetization is sort of covered by nip 11. But yeah, it's all kind of underdeveloped
I tried and failed to set up a blog for my nonbitcoiner friends but this might actually be what I am looking for.

👌
 Did you habla.news with them?
Hmmm good point. I was trying to set up my selfhosted blog over tor but it was a mess. I’ll try
With option to pay for text to audio conversation?
