@b05df304 I've seen others federate git itself and while that is awesome, it's a bit bigger than the issue I want to tackle. I am looking to connect your existing git repo to an activity pub feed. This would mean connecting GitHub, BitBucket, Gitlab, etc, and being able to follow the repo as an account on Mastodon. Mostly relying on webhooks for automation. 

 @025b770f Oh that would be pretty sweet.. I think its a lower priority than getting git itself to federate.. but i could see it as a very nice feature on a federated git, and of course useful on regular git as you point out.
