Iβve read Deep Work and π listened to Slow Productivity π€ on audio. Both good books. His major π podcast appearances are also worth π a π listen. Heβs not a bitcoiner π or anything, but i think his ideas actually align well π with the beliefs of π bitcoiners. His π thesis is essentially that success π― emerges from deep, π distraction-free focus. π― The π€ fiat world tells π us that we just need to work π longer hours π to find success. π But according π to Newport, the most productive of us donβt actually work π― as many βhoursβ as we π might imagine. Rather, they take π€ a π lot π of time off to π let their mind wander. When they do work, their mind is distraction-free. And they take breaks.
