This is true, however, I think rational anarchy leaves room for voting.

I am simply trying to build the best world I can for me and my family with the resources available to me. I know that government will likely always exist. I know that their laws only apply to me if I let them. I know that it is in my best interest to make attempts to reduce legal risks of my actions. 

That could mean using tor and reshippers for darkweb puchases, it could mean using a vpn when torrenting, it could mean using a radar jammer when speeding, it could mean voting for the candidate that I think will nudge the government toward trying to hassle me less.

I don't believe that legitimizes their power, I never felt they had any just power to legitimize. 

 A lot of great points made here. I'd agree with most of them, but doesn't participation of energy and time give it power even at a minimum? 

 Not participating means only the collectivists and authoritarians get a say. That means government gets worse faster and living my peaceful life where I get left alone gets harder faster. 

 So, the closer you are to collection the more the collection affects you? 

 How many more rules do you have to dodge than your grandfather?
