:/ no.
You sure? https://www.neighborhoodscout.com/mo/st-louis/crime
it’s not bad here if you know how to protect yourself. lived downtown by myself for 5 years and going. missouri has the most lax gun laws, of course the crime will be disproportionate. take advantage of your 2a rights and protect yourself. take some classes if needed, get a license. i still pay the cheapest rent in the country, and have zero issues. love my city forever.
also my point in posting this photo is to showcase the beautiful architecture of the german windmill built by Budweiser. Stl has the best German architecture, and victorian architecture.
Looks well maintained, too :)
yes! it’s so beautiful and majestic. my late uncle worked there back when there was a restaurant on top. https://image.nostr.build/60e8855fb91ab4fcbc5140544970f3c5fb798780acc8f49dbf0217485e75cbbe.jpg
nice
Wow. A big old windmill like that always makes me wonder, what sort of company, or industry, or something, used the energy from that. Or is it decorative? (I don’t know much about windmills, and the lattice seems less-than-functional, but maybe it’s “refurbished” for visual effect lol) Really cool shot, in any case. You take this?
it works! still moves. but it wasn’t built for anything important i think. busch family made it for funsies
Wow, still quite cool. And pretty!
