maybe something to connect with ostrich.work i suppose, but i don't see the necessity in this, hope to be enlightened soon
You could upload your resume to LinkedIn or Monster.com or whenever the kids are using these days and not own your data or you could have the data stored on a relay where you control the data. It's the same for any use case. You're either in control, or you're not.
don't the relay operators control my data then?
They can't change it. They can only delete it. Don't want someone deleting your data? Run your own relay. Tanel these are all the same arguments we've had on "why nostr" for a year and a half. What don't you specifically get here in this example that you understand for another? What's the difference?
oh no, i am just dumb
😂 Nah, you're not. You're probably tired because it's super late and you should be sleeping per usual?
stop it... yes https://i.nostr.build/kZwMa.jpg

While I agree LinkedIn is ripe for the taking do not forget People go to LinkedIn to make money. Part of that equation is the network effect. I think a network effect of even just freedom tech people could happen but that’s just as critical as the software itself. Maybe progression looks like: Bitcoiners -> software shops in general -> some other adjacent industries -> ?? -> LinkedIn’s rent seeking days are over
