So ya we know some attack vectors on BTC we seen it defense them and some are ongoing. But with XMR what's the attack surface like ? Some deanonymizing stuff had happen then it kinda sorta maybe fixed it. The problem with XMR is that even though it's open source some bugs are still out in the wild right ? Like if someone created a unlimited XMR glitch for an extreme example no one would be able to know right ? So on the co-op XMR possibly like what's the surface of attack look like ? Bc just from my perspective BTC is going to wrestle with the banks but like ultimately that's a fight BTC could win. But XMR vs the intelligence world....that's like one hell of a battle.

Good point, there are always trade offs. Using both BTC and XMR is for the wisest of us 😁. It all comes down to the use case you have, you will use BTC to save and XMR to spend like cash. BTC for large official purchases like a house or a car and XMR for the day to day expenses.

What "deanonymizing stuff"? Can you be more specific?

If there was an "unlimited XMR glitch" I guess we would know indirectly when it's price suddenly started plummeting towards zero.
That doesn't mean supply bugs don't/can't happen on BTC. And there is no real solution for supply bugs that have been exploited. Doesn't matter if it's XMR or BTC. There will always be some level of permanent damage. The larger BTC becomes, and the longer it takes to discover and stop, the more damage this will be.

Ultimately this is a fight against state controlled monetary supply, financial surveillance, and transactional censorship. Banks are just one of their proxies.
Why only XMR? You don't intelligence agencies are vs BTC?
BTC is a much larger target, traceable, and they even had a hand in creating it's PoW hash function and cryptographic curve. Blockstream has some very shady connections you might want to look into as well.
