 Nothing beats a single piece of flat seed plate. I really dislike the multiple piece solutions, asking to lose a piece.

 Isn't there a strategy on top of seedplate that makes it so that the seedplate reveals a false (but valid) seed, and requires something else to get the real seed?
Is that SeedXor or something?
