Do you answer your door with your weapon showing or did you grow up somewhere nicer than I did? 🤔
Lol I remember being in the floor with my hands over my head every new years due to the shooting so no 😂
I felt like kind of a dick. 🤣
Where I grew up people left their doors unlocked all the time.
 wtf is that????
Adelaide, South Australia and Tasmania. My family in Tasmania still don't lock their houses when they go out, people just drop in.
There's some areas like that in the States but it's disappearing quickly 😅
People in KS would leave doors unlocked and I was like WTF is wrong with you?
When I lived in St Louis someone answered the door for a stranger and they stormed inside and murdered everyone. It was in a bad part of St Louis
 Missouri. Nuff said.

Kansas has some of that too. I’m highly suspicious this time of year. Zero niceness from me.
My cousins neighbours in Melbourne, Australia used to fire AK's into the air on new years, they were Lebanese and you can't get away with that now.
 Broadmeadows still Broadmeadows
That’s amazing 🤩 and something I couldn’t imagine doing. I’m in lock n load territory.
Yeah, we're pretty lucky here. In the little town I live in someone in your backyard with a torch is high crime. 😂
 Ok Mayberry 🤣
Where in Tassie, if I may ask?
Near Cygnet, they still live in the road named after our family, old convicts.
Cygnet is beautiful, but man, those winters are hellish, nothing but a few rocks between you and Antarctica.

Cool re road named after the family :)
I've contemplated moving there permanently many times, but the child and rain put me off. My Mediterranean climate suits me currently.
Weapon exposed is giving up initiative.
When total bitch comes out of my mouth at the same time? I’m very assertive.

Not nice to strangers.
 Especially at that point.
Self defense claims can get very sticky, legally.
I always worry about that. I have lots of training. But still…
It's as important as regular training.

Andrew Branca does a very good series on the Law of Self Defense.

 Nah, usually I'm wearing pants
