When I first got into investing/personal finance I was always of the opinion that I'd have to get lucky to pick the right ones, so I just bought index funds.

I stayed out of Bitcoin for a while because I saw it as a hedge against inflation/systemic collapse/tyrannical government and I didn't want to pick one thing as a winner.

Then I realized that it would take a miracle for at least 1 of the things I'd be hedging against NOT to happen.

The USA is broke AF and much of the rest of the world is worse. Though I have political leanings, no politician can fix that core problem.
This post reminds me of how the banking system collapsed in Iceland in 2008-2010.

I remember hearing how bankers were jailed and debts from much of the population erased.

I always wondered what it be like if that happened in the United States.

The key to #bitcoin adoption is that once you ‘see’ #bitcoin, you cannot unsee it.

This is precisely the idea I use in my mind to tell me that #bitcoin’s success is inevitable.

You just cannot a revolutionary idea. It will always find a way to surface to the masses.
Yes fully agree, brilliant ideas that solve real problems, will always re-surface!
