Relay management needs more love. Relays, while the dumb data stores of Nostr, are the lifeblood that allows our content to be decentralized and censorship resistant.
Imagine a time when someone, a group of people, or even an entire country is banned from accessing certain relays. These users need better tools for discovery and migration.

Instead of clients it should be relays that make the pitch to users, since that would be where all of users data lies.
Clients are what diversify and display the content in pleasing and exciting ways. Data storage isn't sexy enough.

a lot of things can be done with relays - but have to be creative :
assuming there is 3 types of relays :
1. personal : self configured r/w and optional links to outbox
2. private : can be community or utility based, e2ee
3. global : outbox model
this is on establishing personal relays as "relay as a service" concept - which enables privacy and gives users full ownership of their data.

there is a lot more than can be done just by using whatever we have and getting creative in maximising outputs
We both need better tools for relay operators to manage them and better ways of clients managing what relays they use.
