Who uses tallow, lard, or olive oil for skincare?
I use the clear complexion whipped tallow from https://claraandfritz.com/ Highly recommend. They accept bitcoin too. I’ve used lard before too but I prefer this personally.
I don’t see bitcoin as a payment option
Hmmm I could have sworn they used to. Maybe they stopped. @Hodlberry did y’all stop accepting bitcoin?
My wife recently left the bank she was working for and loves making these kinds of products for friends and family. Nothing yet as sophisticated as what Clara was doing there but she loves it. I'm sure you could entice her with some Sats to whip up a batch. Shes made lip balm and general purpose whipped tallow creams, scent or none, we use organic grass fed tallow from fatworks
I should add, I fully support clara/fritz and buy their stuff as gifts al the time, but if you want to pay with bitcoin, i bet my wife would be excited to do that.
Does she have a website?
Definitely not, its just a hobby of hers. Mostly just for friends and family, but I think shed get excited to see some satoshi's pop into her wallet for proof of work. Just a thought, spur of the moment.
Not familiar with such products but sounds great and I wish her every success!!
We accept btc ⚡🧈
Thanks for the link!
I’ve worked a decade in all types of weather - only tallow or lard will heal my hands
it sounded weird at first, but I tried slapping on some tallow and it wasn't bad
👋 we use grass fed beef tallow and cold pressed almond oil in our skincare. Almond oil is non-comedogenic, whereas olive oil is comedogenic. Meaning if you have particulary sensitive skin, acne, oily skin, olive oil may clog your pores.
Lard works great
