 I have been on mainstream social media lately. It's a desiese. Full of scamers, nationalism hate with no actual reason. Such hate between people that is not acceptable for my mind. I have returned to #nostr and see same kind people accepting you whoever, wherever u are. Bless u #plebs. Continue to be excellent to each other and make this rock better place 🫡.

 Wait. Are you sure? I've not been to mainstream social media in years. But nostr is full of bitcoin scammers,nationalistm, hate ( I can't count the amount of times I've see people just wishing a whole collective to die (specially Jews)), racism, sexism, extremism.


I hate Lemmy because is the leat privacy friendly SN I know. But the people there are actually nice

 That might be a difference. I don't follow anyone. I always read global. I guess I might have to find actyalyl interesting people to follow. 

Do you follow the same people (or kind of people) on mainstream and nostr? That might be a big part of the difference for you

 On mainstream u get scamers etc even if u don't follow them. Here u choose what or whom to follow.

 I can't edit my lastcomments because I can't see it (Ihowpe you can) but I just wanted to say that my view may be biased because my nostr client does not auto translate, which means that I can't actually read a significant portion of posts
