the problem with hating monero is that it still gives you anonymity Bitcoin does not. you can infinitely whine about horses being better than cars, but you cannot deny the fact that you will never go closely as fast on a horse (if you find fast movement aka privacy important). tho, if you dislike exactly monero coin, not "every coin expect the bitcoin", then it ain't bad: one can freely try zcash (which is even more private) and dash instead, why not
