They've mentioned that they'll be giving users access to their accounts' keys in the reasonably near future, that way they have full ownership and can migrate to a different "Social Web" app/service at any point. I'm guessing that will allow you to effectively become a nomad if you want, or just migrate to a different service if you get banned from one. Can't say for sure, though.
