Some of my readers today noticed that I dislike modern sub-3 minute songs.

My favorite newish rock band is The Warning. It's a rock band of three Mexican women. I've been a public proponent of them for over three years now. They have special potential, and keep growing.

They do some Metallica covers including of those older and longer songs. Naturally, I love it:

Ohh awesome, I had no idea they existed, thanks!
“Eyes Set to Kill” has 2 sisters as well. The Rodriguez sisters. Local band and friends of mine.

Gotta love the chick power in rock. Especially from a family perspective.
This note does not look like a meme.
 Rock M Roll - it’s Go Time!
What's with the new 2 minute 20 second songs. Like for instance the new Morgan Wallen album touts having 36 songs in one album but most of the songs are under 3 minutes long and seem more like song snippets.
Old, grumpy man: Big Thief is the only great band I’ve come across over the past 5 years.

Will check out The Warning.
Found them on Spotify and I’m loving every song. So different from anything I’ve been listening to. Thank you 🙌😎
Call of Ktulu is one of my favorites, but it could longer.

 Get them on Wavlake 😏
You listened to “The Long Season” bt Fishmans? Classic long song at 45 min.
I used to listen to music most of the day and like many people I used to think that it helps to increase concentration while working or studying. When I reflected on my life I realized that hardship was faced after a surge in the time dedicated to listen to music (and so I’m associating music to calamities because everything in the destiny is balanced) and now I’m not listening to music voluntarily. Can you reflect and relate between listening to music and hardship in your life?
Good flag. Big Metallica fan so will check them out.
 Thanks!
To give back: check out the japanese stoner/prog band Ningen Isu: (

I like Tool, Immortal, and Mozart, so take that for what you will.

Though in fairness also like some hood oldschool sub-minute hardcore.
