Zeus will reute the payments to your channel that is on your own custody. it will notify to your phone tru push notifications. if you don't claim those payments in 24 hours they will get rejected, Zeus can't steal your sats.

 Yes but the stumbling block for many is for the latter to be self-custodial. 

 Yes, it’s a big barrier. I think the spending of sats to open channels is the block. 

 Very needed. I am aware if differences but would love to read about proper non custodial solutions and set ups for #Nostr to zap in and zap ⚡️ out with no problem.

 You prefer zeus over alby? Im pretty new to this, could you explain y? Or what the difference is?
 

 Yes, Zeus allows you to have your lightning ⚡ address in self custody. You hold the keys and the property of the lightning channel. When you get zapped Zeus notifies you and you log on to claim those sats. Zeus it's the intermediary of the payment but it cannot steal those sats. If you don't claim them in 24 hours the payment with get rejected.

On the other hand alby is custodial, you don't have the keys or the property of the lightning address. You can get rugged. 

 I'm curious what would be the fee you paid for receiving those 1k sats with your ln address  

 Not to split hair but you can point your alby to your node as well... just saying... to each his own. 

 And the cycle of begins again. New entrants to the network eager to learn more and escape fiat slavery and those who can teach them.
