Time for me to reveal the culprit.
Nemol is me. Yonle.

Nemol, the actor behind of the incident is actually me. The thread in my imageboard site is also made by me. I masked myself & do this attack on purpose.

I was the one who made the chaos in #nostr back then. Still glad that you guys managed to handle the situation by relay & client side.

The code that were used to spam numerous of nostr relays is also still in my hand till today. And i was not targetting small relay made by people on purpose.

 🤯 ok sir, what was your purpose behind that attack? to find how vulnerable nostr / relays are? or would like to know how relay owners mitigated those attack? 

I wish there is an article about the attack and the mitigation that I can read today 

 Can't speak for yonle, but very often its because an attacker can see the vulnerability and will become frustrated that people aren't protecting themselves.

Sometimes the best way to get someone to learn how to protect themselves is to attack them. At least you can let up if they aren't handling it very well 

 To show how easy it was to mass spam the entire nostr platform.

Today, they implemented the PoW (Proof of work). It still does not partially solve the problem, But it managed to reduce the spam attack.
