People sometimes don't really realize how I operate, 

I engage with people on topics moreso for everyone else to see not solely the direct person I'm conversing with.

 

 That way if I'm wrong, I'll get educated hopefully by more than one perspective.

If I'm right, then people don't need to feed into bad info / fud. 

 This is largely how social media should be used, less emotional targeting of an individual & moreso feeling the town square conversation.
