This is not just for devs and techies is it? Would an otherwise non-dev ordinary yet prudent individual have something of value to input in these meet ups?

 We used to meet at Casa Mezcal. This is not only for devs. It’s a place for people who use Nostr and that might or might not like Bitcoin as well. We talked about all kinds of things.

 Hey! Yeah like @farfallica said the meetups are definitely not a dev only thing, majority of are normies who just wanted to create a grassroots community in the Toronto area for Nostr. We did our inaugural meetup at Casa Mezcal but haven’t had one since. Had some inter-founder issues which slowed us a bit and we noticed a lack of engagement on Nostr revolving around the meetups so we axed them. Now myself & @CraigTheSpaceBum play a hand in the Bitcoin Cypherpunks group and meetups, where we both talk about Nostr (and Bitcoin of course). You should come out to the next meetup!! Planning in progress rn, can update you if interested.
