Very true! I visited Chadds Ford, PA years ago and got an Andrew Wyeth book that shows so many of his studies for major paintings. It was a palpable sense of relief that even Andrew Wyeth did smaller sketches and practice paintings before producing masterpieces. It was a great encouragement to me and going there one of my fondest memories with my father.
