Potentially the US. Potentially Japan. Potentially any number of places including Bali. Ideally a cheap and safe place that can be used as a jump off point for global travel. Nowhere is perfect and we may just stay close to wherever the kids and future grandkids end up but that's still a decade away likely.
It is too bad that most of Europe is hot garbage. That would be a good launching point for global travel.
We have Canadian, American, and Japanese citizenships and passports so that makes these three countries the easiest to move between. Japan is the safest socially but risks with China and NK, not to mention earthquakes. It's BTC friendly and has cheap housing with outstanding transportation. It's my leading choice.
