#WordWeavers 3: How do you convey your characters' emotions?

With words, in a mix of dialogue (especially through lies and deceit; things they *don't* say) and inner thoughts (sometimes contradictory too). They tend to be more honest in non-verbal communication. Body language, microexpressions, inner sensations - basically, when their body betrays them.
