 So 6 whole years?
The average expected lifespan of a male when they are born is about 73, but the average expected lifespan of a male who has already lived to the age of 67 is more like 83.

Also if anyone tells you they know what the average lifespan of anyone is, that was born in X. And there are people that were born in X that are still alive. Then it’s technically BS, they can’t actually calculate that average can they. Because not everyone from X has died yet. The calculated average would be ‘censored data’. Everything has to be an expected average calculated based on years where everyone has died so we can have real averages and the trends in lifespan that people have to assume will continue at some rate.
