I am wondering what you think. I like to read out loud. I seem to comprehend better and learn faster that way. If I am not listening to a book, then I like to read it out loud if I am able to.

This idea has crossed my mind a few times... Maybe doing live readings as I #studybitcoin myself or maybe do recordings of books I share chapter or section at a time, publish on fountain or some other place.

Would you tune in and listen to learn together? https://video.nostr.build/ac6c025f6cbe48aa87bdac54b17a701de63e12df335efb4525c11b7dcc685254.mp3 (Forward by nostr:nprofile1qqsywt6ypu57lxtwj2scdwxnyrl3sry9typcstje65x7rw9a2e5nq8sprpmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctvqydhwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnzd96xxmmfdecxzunt9e3k7mgpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mq9hxafw for Gradually then Suddenly by Parker Lewis)
I just recorded this on my phone (no professional mic or anything) after my first few sips of coffee this am (made a few mistakes. My accent is stronger some places, it's what's up). Wanna send to a couple of friends to inspire them perhaps to read the book (which I am just diving into now myself).

I'd have to practice a little and maybe with some feedback I can nail the right pace, intonation etc.

Looking into what would be a good microphone that's compact enough for my current nomadic MO atm and then this would probably be better.

Any feedback, support and reflections welcomed.

what would you be reading ? topics ?
#studybitcoin articles and books most likely. Did you take a listen to what I attached in this note from the Forward of the Gradually, then suddenly book?
I Love it ! please continue 🙏 I'm going to finish listening 🎧
Really?! That feels very encouraging and supportive. 🫂😃☺️🙏🏻 Thank you! Glad it feels resonant. I am sure I will be finding my voice in it as I go so will appreciate continuous feedback.
I also thing taking smaller chunks of readings as well that give a good message could be great as well.... ie.. a section not just a whole chapter or book ...
Yes for sure. I also think that's. Great idea. These would definitely be identified in course of the reading.
I'd start with Gradually then suddenly probably if that would be an ok thing to do and I am not infringing on any copyright etc. seems like the book is available free on the Satoshi Nakamoto institute site.
Your accent is who you are, no need to apologize or even mention it. It sounds great and authentic.

Basically, you're creating an audio book, stating the obvious here. The more relaxed you are when reading, the relaxation will come through in your voice. I'm a world of AI generated voices reading books now, a real human is a luxury.

Any decent external mic will help the quality tremendously. Smartphone mics are a mess for quality. Something like this works great to start (see link)

Keep doing it. You'll improve at all of it the more you do it. Stick with books that interest you emotionally. The emotion and interest will be genuine and come through the recording.

Great first try.

Thank you! Thank you, for the encouragement and support and the mic recommendation 🙏🏻☺️ I've been trying to find a mic that could fit my nomadic lifestyle that I could also attach to my MacBook pro to record video virtual meeting interviews. Would this also work for that as well, do you think? 🙏🏻

Thank you. This one of the few options that has been sitting actually in my Amazon shoping cart for a few days. I had also seen the first one through my research just didn't quite think it would fullfill the podcast interview mic needs I had been mainly after. I will sit with it and need to pull the plug here in the next day or two. These are the other couple ones I'd be looking at. https://image.nostr.build/5cdcb39383f622cd93e86f09f8ce94ce51676ea28ac808fac37e2ad72823791b.jpg
Been reaching to perplexity.ai for the more real time Google search results on what's popular right now.
👀 I can join in reading some nonfiction. Not sure if I could commit weekly but maybe monthly or bi-weekly
