Damoose is doing some more market research. What would ya’ll want to see with search on #nostr?

We’ve reviewed the traditional platforms and they’ve all got different was of doing it.

Currently on Damus you can search via the home tab by keywords and on the universe feed by hashtags.

We want to improve/streamline the design and welcome your feedback! #asknostr https://image.nostr.build/e75375dd032e7dc616377ab6ea97df520e7c57a2e4d64ff1d63504e07714686a.png
En el Feed del universo podría clasificar la búsqueda algo así : https://image.nostr.build/090f258e66c0ade8ef1efbad4459b979750a8b494336f912d24d8f489d977b7b.jpg
 Thank you great feedback!
a way to search by excluding terms like:

show me notes from everyone i follow excluding their notes with a word like, for example: "cottoncandy"
 Noted! Thanks for the feedback!
I haven’t been here long but I have never used the search at the top of the homepage. Maybe utilize the bottom (universe) search to recommend hashtags, keywords and accounts.
Also you guys are doing a great job. Damus has come a long way and is great.
 Thank you!
I have a problem when scrolling through replies, the screen always bounces down to the most recent reply note.
I want a filter to apply to exclude inappropriate stuff.
You can currently hide notes with #nsfw tags in settings, but are you thinking even more detailed filters on this?
Yeah, seems a lot of crazy pictures get posted, love to have an automated image filter on everything.
I think it’s fine as is. Damus is the only client where your feed can be completely customized via hashtags.
On Reddit I have so many subreddits with each subreddit with a lot of people on that particular topic. That is a great way to learn and interact.

On X, hashtags will get you the information you seek.

Damus, although tiny has hardcore bitcoiners. Some freedom and privacy minded folks (people do not care about privacy enough though). And Damus has ultimate freedom. No KYC.
The problem is damus is that it is way to tiny. And I have heard bitcoiners here for over a year say “we are very early”..and “we want to grow slowly and attract only people like us”..so I don’t know. It is hard to grow. Throwing around a little bit of sats is nice I guess. But I like information and dialog about topics I am interested in.
 Nice
