alright who’s building nostrpedia?
someone is ;)
Nostrpedia.com currently redirects to the nostr github http://nostrpedia.com
This? https://github.com/github-tijlxyz/wikinostr
And there's this one, from maybe the same source code: https://wikistr.vercel.app/
Where's all that data going to get stored?
Relay’s presumably? Same as it is now. Some relays will opt in to keep data longer.
That's just too much data. It's becoming clear that we're going to need some kind of nostr Relay-to-torrent crossover to host all the data that big social apps like Nostrpedia and NosTube would require.
86gb for all current versions of pages. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Database_download
Seems not terrible tbh
I’m building zapvertsing thanks to https://youtu.be/4sxon4ajrCM?si=fh4Pc8h9BoS8Tvwb
