Ah! You are using the tool that connects to your own self cusotdial wallet. This would be if you had a node or Lightning client on your desktop or a Start9 node or a btcpayserver or something.
In your case you already ahve a wallet which @Wallet of Satoshi is operating for you, that is your Lightning address. You simply paste that into your *Profile details* and people can zap you.
Thats actually not very intuitive for new people. @jb55 I wonder if there’s reason to change where you put the Lightning address, or maybe add it into the wallet page, and then the zap page too just so it can be easily found and changed no matter where someone may naturally go looking.

Thank you 🫡⚡️
Thank you for the zaps ⚡️. That is the first lighting transaction I’ve ever had.
Very cool feeling.
Woot! Honored to be the first! Welcome to the future 🔥🫡
If you want to understand how to think about it:
• Connecting a wallet via NWC is being your own bank, it would be like running your own email server on your own domain.
• your Lightning address is basically using WalletOfSatoshi as your bank. It’s like using Gmail and then you share your myaddr@gmail.com address that they host for you.
Good to know. Thanks for the help. I like your posts!
